JOAD LOGOWasting Arrows Junior Olympic Archery Development

Wasting Arrows is happy to offer a Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program to young archers in our area. The program is run through USA Archery (our Olympic Team) and combines the best aspects of a competitive team and a group lesson.

Students enrolled in our JOAD program are taught by Level 4 USA Archery Coach Lystra Ptts and our staff of Level 2 Certified Instructors and Level 3 NTS Coaches on a weekly basis. They are also eligible to shoot in any USA Archery sanctioned event. Once a month the group shoots a 30 arrow indoor round and can earn achievement pins through USA Archery.

We also compete in Virtual Tournaments hosted by USA Archery where participants can shoot locally but compete NATIONALLY. This is a great way to get the attention of national coaches and programs!
